Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

In 2000 Bob Mead created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to allow our Associates to become owners in our company. Bob's commitment to helping his people grow and prepare for the future through ownership in our company has been a significant part of our continued growth and success. By 2010 the company had over 400 employee owners who continue to grow our company and be committed to serving our customers and earning their business every day.

  • 100% contributed by Mead Lumber
  • Fully vested after 6 years participation
  • All full-time associates are eligible after 1 year of employment

401(k) Savings Plan

  • Associates are eligible for participation after six months of employment
  • Deposit 1% to 100% of your eligible income
  • Participants can self-direct their own investments into approximately 16 different investment options

Scholarship Program

  • The Mead Family is committed to the education of the children of our Associates. The Mead Family Scholarship Foundation was created to allow the children of our Associates to receive tuition scholarships and tuition assistance for college.
